“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
Basically to sum up what he’s saying is what’s the point in worrying about anything.
Now, confession time…
As much as I would like to admit that I don’t worry, guess what, I worry like there’s no tomorrow. I worry about quite a bit, I worry about my future, I worry about things changing, I worry about what others think about me. I could go on ,but I’ll spare y’all.
Point is I worry, I would even go as far to say you even worry too. There I said it. All joking aside we ALL worry about something, whether that is figuring out what your next steps are to finding a new job, you could be worried about just what the future holds in store for you as the years keep flying by. You might even be worried..just to be worried.
I read a post on Instagram about not worrying because God is already in tomorrow, and ever since I’ve wanted to write a blog about worry. I just want to encourage you- yes YOU!
“Remember that we don’t have to worry about tomorrow if God is already in tomorrow”
God is with us, he is always with us, waiting for us to come to Him. He is the only one who can bring peace that we all seek. I wish I could tell you not to worry, that everything will be okay, but I worry probably way more than I should.
If you wrestle with worry, and/or anxiety I would encourage you to memorize scripture verses from the God’s Word on Worry. Once I wrote out 15 verses for memorization on Anxiety (haven’t gotten around to the memorizing part yet haha!)
Anyways what is the point in us having to worry, it keeps us on edge, it holds us back and holds us down. Don’t let worry steal your joy, let your joy and your passion kick worry in the face.
Stay awesome, Love yall
